Live fire event

Over the weeking I was out at 29 Palms observing a live fire exercise so I did a few quick sketches. Throughout the day several Marine tank and infantry squads assaulted a town and I got to tag along as they cleared each building. All I can say is the main gun on the Abrams is amaizing.... when it fires its like an earthquake. Great fun!

Plein Air painting from beach

Pulled out my oil paints to do a little traditional painting out at El Matador beach. I'm glad we chose to go traditional because the tide came in so quickly that we both got drenched and we had to swim after half of our equipment. I don't think my tablet would have survived that...
