Drawing Club "Sunday Session" 3/19

I'm still not sure how I feel about this one. I'm trying to force
myself to play with proportions more and get away from just
copying what I see. Most of it worked out but the left arm still
really bothers me.

Part of me thinks I wasted a lot of time going around in circles
but in the end I'm happy with a lot of the things I tried. My
biggest struggle was in trying to create the setting because
without those made up background elements it just looks like
a model posing on a stage. The environment really makes him
a boxer.

Drawing Club 03/16

I was trying to loosen up and get away from just drawing
what I see. So in the first one I decided to shift the theme
to more of a Cthulhu style western and in the later sketches
I was trying for more of a graffiti style.
